Sunlight made its entry into the Ghanaian market in 1963, produced and marketed locally by Lever Brothers Division (LBD).

Packaging was changed in 2004 to include fresh flowers to evoke sensory cues of the freshness and fragrance consumer’s associates with the brand.

In addition to this unique fresh fragrance, it is a pure soap formulated with high level of nut oil ensuring the generation of copious lather for washing with special and tender care to everything you care for.

Presently, Sunlight cones three main variants: 

• a premium wrapped gentle and mild bar soap suitable for laundry and personal wash for the entire family; and 
• Sunlight dishwashing liquid which is preferred by 7 out of 10 women because of its efficacy as Master Sunlight, fragrance and the saturation. 
• In September 2010, Sunlight handwash powder was introduced into the Ghanaian market with an attractive packaging and also with a 2-in-1 benefit that consumers have come to trust and love

Sunlight is sold in four continents, is the leading hand dishwashing brand in twenty countries, and is available to more than 2 billion people around the world.
